I went to watch the sun rise early this morning and spotted this rainbow behind me that seemed to fade in out of nowhere. This was taken from the Weymouth wharf, looking across the Manukau Harbour and towards the Karaka farmlands.
The small boat seen here goes past every day but this is where it gets moored before it goes to work in the morning. The rainbow reminded me of the one scene in my Surprise After Sunrise photo seen here. The actual sunrise in the opposite direction was awesome to watch too, was a hard choice when it came to which one of natures wonders to watch. Wasnt very cold this morning, I was the only one around once again. Didnt even see any fishermen going out today, most times Im there the boat ramp gets quite busy. Was another great start to the day, with the added bonus of a random rainbow. Thanks for viewing. Photo has been resized from original. |

So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial
For what it's worth it was worth all the while.
